To provide consumers with better services, iTe2 Technology (hereinafter referred to as the Company) has developed the following warranty policy. Please carefully read the following warranty information to protect your rights.
1. Product Warranty
- For the Company’s all-series NAS products (accessories NOT included), two-year product warranty from the date of purchase, under normal use, is provided. This warranty is available only to the individuals or organizations that purchased from the Company or its authorized distributors and retailers. Register at our website after your purchase. A six-month extended full warranty is offered once completing online registration.
- The company's products are equipment without hard disk included, therefore the product warranty does not include the hard drive in the product, nor does it guarantee compatibility with all hard drives and peripherals.
- Users are suggested to back up their files in the product before sending it for repair. The Company only checks and repairs the product, as backup and rescue are not within our services.
- If delivery of the product for repair is needed, be sure to properly pack the goods with safe fillers to avoid any damage caused by falls or collisions during transportation.
- If any product within the warranty period is not functioning, the Company will decide whether the product is to be replaced or repaired. Replaced parts or products will not be returned, and the Company is responsible for the relevant costs. If termination of manufacturing of the product is announced, the Company reserves the right to replace it with a higher-level product.
- Product warranty is offered only for the machine body. As to its accessories and hard drives, contact their original manufacturers for more details.
- The Company's products are not designed for use in defense, medical, life-saving, or life-support systems.
- Warranty provided is limited to the area of Taiwan (Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu), and the resulted freight is on a “one trip for each party” basis.
If the following conditions, the warranty will automatically lapse:
- Product warranty has expired
- Product warranty sticker is damaged or removed.
- No serial number is marked on the product or the serial number is unrecognizable.
- The product was altered by unauthorized personnel or unit.
- Product malfunctions are due to misuse or improper use resulting from not following the directions of the user manual, or caused by using in an even harsher environment than was specified.
- Product malfunctions are caused by natural disasters or any events of force majeure, such as floods, lightning, earthquakes, wars, vandalism, theft, power outage or power instability.
- If the product warranty has expired, paid maintenance services are still provided.
Return and refund policy:

New failures: Replacement for another new product is offered to consumers who find any product defective within 7 days of purchase.
- "Defective product repair within the warranty period: In the case of product malfunction within the warranty period, consumers are to contact our customer service center for repair or replacement. We promise a product replacement at the same level or to a higher level in case of an idling period or inability to repair".
- "Defective product repair beyond the warranty period:
As the repair costs are close to the price of a new product, it is recommended that customers purchase a new one"

The item to be repaired is sent along with the original proof of purchase to the original dealer".

2. Warranty Exclusion Clause
If any product produced by the Company is not functioning, the Company’s judgement of the product for repair or replacement is the sole remedy. The warranty and remedy mentioned above are unique and will replace any other guaranty, express or implied. The Company bears NO responsibility for a product warranty if the customer-alleged defect in the product is found not to exist, or to be caused by abnormal use, negligence, improper installation or testing, unauthorized repair or modification by the customer or a third party, or by accident, fire, lightning or other disasters.
3. Limitation of Liability
The Company and its service providers' entire liability, and the sole compensation for the customer, related claims or payment arising out of these terms and conditions, will not exceed the price paid by the customer to purchase the product. This limitation of liability, even if the customer has informed the Company or its service providers in advance of the possibility of any such damages, is still valid.
