Never install unknow software on your machines, and PowerNAS won't be infected by the windows viruses.
Basically, PowerNAS is very safty. You don't need to install the antivirus software.
But we didn't install any antivirus software on PowerNAS. If you upload a infected file, next time download it may infect your windows.
You can use your PowerNAS after finishing the DDNS setup.
